If you’re planning a trip to Domaine de la Brèche, get ready to step into acres of space and wonderful woodlands that were made to be explored.

But it’s not just the incredible backdrop that will draw you to this parc, you’ll be made to feel welcome and at ease by the friendly parc owner. Try your luck at fishing or summer pony trekking (perhaps into the spectacular Loire countryside). And the best part? Whatever you plump for, you’ll have acres and acres to do it in! The facilities closer at hand are excellent too. This year, look out for three new slides in the waterpark, including a fun two lane racer slide. That's on top of two heated pools (one is covered) a paddling pool and a spray ground for little ones.

Elsewhere, dive into the English pub for some summertime refreshment, or head to the snack bar for refuelling before heading out to enjoy the parc's array of activities before exploring further afield. Perhaps a visit to the castles of the Loire is on the cards, such as the magical Château Saumur; or the Val de Loire wine road which offers days out to wonderful spots such as Saumur, Chinon, Anjou and Muscadet. Or maybe a kayak trip along the river is more your style?

Kids want to amp up the fun? There's the brilliant Zoo de Beauval, the medieval theme park of Puy du Fou, and its more technological counterpart, Futuroscope all within an easy 90 minutes' drive away. Whatever you choose, you've a simply stunning parc to return to after your adventures.

Tourist tax: Local and/or ecological taxes are not included in your holiday price. These taxes are payable at almost all tourist destinations, and you will need to pay at check-in.

Dogs are allowed on parc:

From 2025, dogs are permitted in all accommodation types, except tents. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs must have identification and be vaccinated for more than one month and less than a year. The vaccination certificate as well as the dog's passport will be asked for on your arrival. Dogs from Class 1 and 2 (dangerous dogs) are forbidden on parc.

Accommodation check-in: please note that your accommodation will be available from 4pm, you will however be able to enjoy all the parc facilities if you arrive earlier.

WiFi is available to buy across the site. Free Wi-Fi is available at the bar and under the patio.

Please note: only conventional swimwear is permitted at this parc

Permitted swimwear includes:

Speedos, and lycra-style fitted swimming briefs
Bikinis, or one piece swimming costume
Lycra swimming top

For cleanliness and safety reasons, the following clothing is not permitted in the pool complex: sport shorts and swimming shorts (other than described above), full body costumes, loose fitting swimwear, t-shirts, string costumes, underwear, sarongs, skirts, shoes and sandals, and outdoor clothing.

Swimming Pools

With four pools and three new waterslides, this parc boasts a fantastic pool complex. The new toddler pool offers two slides, whilst the adults will enjoy an indoor pool, water fountains and a generous number of sunloungers for relaxing on. Surrounded by abundant forestry, this parc presents the best of the Loire region.

Please note: The opening dates of pool complexes are correct at the time of collection at the beginning of the season, but are subject to change. It is possible that the parc may close outdoor pools in poor weather and/or in low season.

Saumur is well known for producing fine wine, as well as its houses built into the cliffside and caves. For a fun family day out, visit Doué-la-Fontaine and its zoo. Chinon, with its markets and 400m long fortress is just 25km away, ideal for a family day out.

Irish Ferries ferry crossing from Cork

8 nights accommodation at 4* Domaine de la Brèche Campsite, in a mid range 3-bedroom mobile with decking

Sailings with Brittany Ferries require 25% deposit to be paid at time of booking
