This January and February, stay in a fully-furnished apartment in Salou and enjoy a couple of days' golfing at some of the best golf courses on the Costa Daurada. This itinerary features 2 excellent courses with easy accessibility from your fantastic self-catering accommodation.

Description

This city aparthotel is located very close to the Plaza Europa in the centre of Salou, and 700 metres from the beach. Many shops and recreational opportunities are located within a radius of only 300 metres.

This complex consists of 9 buildings with 10 apartments in each. The units are equipped with 2 spacious bedrooms, a private bathroom, a living room with a double sofa bed and a fully fitted kitchen. The air-conditioned guestrooms also feature a terrace offering views of the well-tended garden.

In the hotel grounds guests will find two swimming pools where they can escape from the heat with a refreshing dip. Parking facilities are also provided.

This suggested itinerary includes two rounds of golf; one each at the Lakes and The Hills Golf Courses.

The Golf Courses

The Lake Course, Costa Dorada

Laid out around a nature reserve, this championship layout designed by Greg Norman is a good but fair test of golf. The course has strategically placed hazards and tees, but ladies will find that their tee boxes are fairly situated to ease the difficulty.

The Hills Course, Costa Dorada

This spectaular course was designed by Vidaor & Sardá and offers a varied and technical round. Nestled around a small mountain, some of the greens are hewn out of old quarries. Worth a memorable picture.

Opened in 2008, these courses have been the site of many important tournaments, and have been the permanent venue for the European Tour Q School final stage since 2017.
