The best short break destination: CAMBRILS
If you're thinking of a short golf break, then we highly recommend Cambrils. You fly into Reus airport and our selected hotels are only 15 minutes transfer. We have hand-picked these 4-star hotels, all in the centre of Cambrils and surrounded by restaurants, shops, and bars, and of course a lovely beach.
The golf courses are also only a 15-minute transfer from the hotels. Both courses- the Hills and the Lakes- are excellent and a good but fair challenge. Ladies’ tees are particularly fair; the Tour Q School finishes there every year. The clubhouses here are top class with every facility. Club and buggy hire are available, and your clubs, on request, may be transferred overnight from one course to the next. Everything can be taken care of to ensure a relaxing holiday.

What makes it such a good destination? Easy access to Reus Airport (2 ½ hrs from Cork), 15-minute transfer to your hotel and 15 minutes transfer to the Hills and Lakes golf courses. Excellent clubhouse restaurants. It is a lovely family-run hotel with excellent staff, just a short stroll to a variety of restaurants. There are some great Michelin-starred restaurants in the area too. For days off, it's only 90 minutes by train to Barcelona. And if you want alternative distractions, Port Aventura World Theme Park is only a short taxi ride away.
A 4-night package in October including 3 rounds of golf and all transfers would cost you from about €700 (excluding flights) based on sharing standard rooms with bed & breakfast. We can arrange any number of nights and rounds of golf.

We have arranged special packages for groups including group identification on arrival, prearranged buggies with named sharing golfers, free range balls and exclusive use of driving range facilities when accompanied by PRO. Generous tee times are allowed without undue pressure on the courses. All in all, this is our favourite and most highly recommended destination for an enjoyable short golf break.
