Ports of call: Southampton, United Kingdom; Stavanger, Norway; Olden, Norway; Innvikfjorden, Norway(cruise-by); Nordfjord, Norway (cruise-by); Geiranger, Norway; Geirangerfjord, Norway (Cruise-by); Sunnylvsfjorden, Norway (Cruise-by); Haugesund, Norway; Southampton, United Kingdom

Board the luxuriously-appointed Queen Anne in Southampton, and set sail on a seven-night cruise to the stunning Norwegian Fjords. In addition, two-Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux will bring his exclusive Le Gavroche residency at sea to this Queen Anne sailing. This is a bucket list experience, with the best of accommodations and world-class service.

In partnership with the Norwegian Seafood Council, the exclusive series begins aboard Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2 for her sailing to Hardangerfjord on 2 June, and again for her Hamburg roundtrip Fjords voyage on 6 August. That same month, Michel will deliver another intimate, five-night takeover on board Cunard’s newest ship Queen Anne as she departs for Stavanger in Norway on 11 August. A further residency on Queen Anne will take place on 1 September.

Cunard Michel Roux

Each evening, guests will be treated to a five-course tasting menu infused with all the flavours of the sea, elegantly finessed using the very best produce. During these voyages, Michel will also appear as an Insight Speaker in the Royal Court Theatre.

There will be an additional charge for this special event. For more information or to book, fill in the enquiry form below or chat to your cruise agent: email us at cruise@shandontravel.ie.

Indulge in this roundtrip from Southampton to the Norwegian fjords, taking in distinctive Haugesund, picturesque Olden and dramatic Flaam. Sail to the UNESCO site of Bryggen in Bergen, the remains of an old wharf from the 14-16th century Hanseatic League’s trading empire.

Norway's Stavanger is not only blessed with compelling history, but also a natural beauty. From the ancient port, the city radiates across a network of islands which are connected by graceful bridges.

A sense of wonderment awaits as you sail Innvikfjorden, just one highlight of Norway’s beautiful network of fjords. The villages and farmsteads along its coastline really put things into perspective.

Your cruise-by of Nordfjord will not disappoint. Norway’s sixth largest Fjord is home to Europe’s biggest mainland glacier, as well as the continent’s deepest lake.

You have Kaiser Wilhelm II to thank for the city of Alesund's wonder. He rebuilt his beloved gateway in Art Nouveau style after it was destroyed by fire in 1904. Lose your heart in this gem of the Nordic coast. Today, its buildings feature dreamy turrets and ornate carvings of dragons and mythical figures. Nature has played its part too, as calm waters and distant snow-capped peaks add to the charm.

Your fascinating ‘Gateway to the Fjords’ is Norway’s second-largest city, Bergen. Its maritime trade and oil industry remain vital to the economy and it’s a thriving epicentre of culture and history. Visit the old quays of Bryggen, a World Heritage Site, and the medieval wooden houses of the city’s waterfront. You can even take a peek inside the workshops of local painters, weavers and craftsmen.
