DAY 1: EDINBURGH TO OBAN
Departs 8.30am. From Edinburgh, we head north to take in views of magnificent Stirling Castle and the mighty Wallace Monument. Crossing from the Lowlands into the Highlands, we pass the medieval strong hold of Doune Castle as seen in Outlander and Game of Thrones before eerie Glencoe, home to some of Scotland’s most iconic scenery and the setting of the infamous 1692 massacre.

DAY 2: OBAN TO SKYE
Heading north to Fort William we pass under the shadow of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. We take in Glenfinnan, the monument built in memory of Bonnie Prince Charlie's campaign to claim the throne of Scotland back in 1745. You have the chance to travel on the famous Jacobite Steam train or take the 'Road to the Isles' enroute to the Isle of Skye. (summer route)

DAY 3: ISLE OF SKYE
Today we explore the stunning Isle of Skye, also known as the ‘winged isle’ or ‘Isle of Mist’. Famous for its ruined castles, awesome scenery and legendary MacLeod and MacDonald Clans, you'll be immersed in Celtic myths and Viking legends, hear tales abound with faeries and fights and explore the windswept mountain terrain and rugged coastline before passing beautiful Eilean Donan Castle on return to the mainland

DAY 4: SKYE TO LOCH NESS
We start the day with monster spotting as our journey north takes us to Loch Ness and past the ruins of Urquhart Castle. Then the eerie moor of lonely Culloden Battlefield awaits as we hear tales of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the tragedy of his defeat followed by mysterious and acient Clava Cairns, both seen in the TV show Outlander. This afternoon we get the chance to taste a drop of the 'water of life' at a whisky distillery.

DAY 5: LOCH NESS TO EDINBURGH
Our journey takes us from Loch Ness past the Commando Memorial southward to explore the forests and salmon packed rivers of Perthshire. We visit the heart of Macbeth country with the mighty Dunkeld cathedral and then take a hike into the beautiful woodlands and waterfalls of the Hermitage. Just before arriving back in Edinburgh we pass the famous Forth Bridge which has recently joined the list of Scotland's UNESCO sites. We returns approximately 5.00pm.
