This collection of small villages that surround the beautiful Lake Bohinj are dominated by the magnificent Julian Alps, affording some spectacular scenery. The main ski area of Vogel overlooks the the lake itself, offering a wonderful experience for all winter activities. The majority of runs are ideal for beginner and intermediate skiers. A superb ski school is on hand for those who are new to the sport, or just want to improve their skills. At the end of an active day, there's a small selection of inns and restaurants which are ideal for relaxing and sampling local drinks and specialities.
