On landing in Switzerland, take the train to Lucerne. Situated on Lake Lucerne and surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama, the city of Lucerne is ideal for exploring on foot thanks to its attractions, its souvenirs and watch shops.

Highlights of the city include the fully restored Chapel Bridge- one of Europe’s oldest wooden bridges and landmark of Lucerne- and Lake Lucerne itself, with fantastic views from the shoreline of the vintage paddlewheel steamers crossing the water. Stay overnight in Lucerne.

On day 2 enjoy breakfast at hotel before walking to the boat landing quay. The excursion to Mt. Pilatus is simply an exceptional experience. It starts with a short lake cruise to Alpnachstad, followed by a ride on the world's steepest cogwheel railway up to Pilatus Kulm (2132m). The journey time is approximately 2½h each way. Return by gondola and bus via Kriens and overnight in Lucerne.

The next morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel before a leisurely walk to train station. Today you will travel on the route of the Golden Pass over the Brünig Pass. The route follows the banks of Lake Lucerne, climbing up past the picturesque villages and numerous lakes to the Brünig Pass.

Winding through the countryside below snow-covered peaks you will pass Meiringen with the famous Reichenbach Falls, before descending to the banks of the beautiful Lake Brienz and arriving in Interlaken. Enjoy ime at leisure after your arrival and overnight in Interlaken.

On day 4 enjoy breakfast atyour hotel followed by a walk to the train station to depart for your excursion to the Jungfraujoch. The Jungfraujoch, at 3454 metres, is known as the Top of Europe and is home to Europe’s highest altitude railway station.

A highlight of every visit to Switzerland, the journey to the summit is on the Jungfrau Railway, an engineering masterpiece. The last section has been built inside the mountain itself, and the view through the panorama windows are a thrilling experience. Tonght you will stay overnight in Interlaken.
