In the Berchtesgaden National Park, before the impressive Watzmann Massif (2,713 m) panorama, lies the romantic Berchtesgadener Land.
Surrounded by a mountain chain with peaks reaching 2,000 m - 2,700 m, the Upper Bavarian region offers peace and tranquility. A total of six ski areas cater to all winter sports fans' tastes: Jenner is very well-suited to experts, Hochschwarzeck entices families with children, and Götschen is ideal for snowboarders.
Berchtesgadener Land has an international reputation due to its world-cup runs and its position as host to world championships in the luge, bobsledding and snowboarding.
Berchtesgaden is situated at an altitude of 570 m in the south-eastern part of Upper Bavaria, bordering neighbouring Austria. This resort offers everything necessary for an enjoyable winter holiday: romantic village scenery with two distinguished church towers, a wide variety of sports and leisure activities, as well as the Watzmann thermal baths in which you can relax after a busy day.
Typical Bavarian cuisine entices with specialities such as roast pork and "Krustenhaxen". A definite eye-catcher is the royal palace with palace museum, which surrounds the market square.

Location and facilities
The quaint Hotel Binderhäusl is situated in the district Wemholz, approx. 1 km from the centre of Berchtesgaden. The Obersalzberg ski area is approx. 3 km away, and the Jenner ski area is approx. 4 km away. Depending on which ski area you wish to visit, the bus (RVO-public service vehicle) departs either approx. 200 m or 500 m away. Facilities include a reception, dining hall, Wi-Fi (in the whole accommodation, incl.), as well as a ski cellar. The hotel also offers a beauty centre with cosmetic treatments, beauty and make-up consultations (open upon appointment, payable locally). Free parking spaces are available at the accommodation.
Rooms
The cosy rooms offer a bath or shower/wc, alarm clock radio, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (incl.) and some with balcony or terrace.
Board
The all inclusive board consists of a welcome drink, a breakfast buffet, packed lunch, après ski snack with coffee, tea and cake buffet, and a 3-course evening meal. Drinks such as mineral water, beer, table wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea are available for free all day from 10:00 - 22:00 (partly self-service, no spirits). On New Year's Eve, a special meal (incl.) awaits you.
