Fly from Shannon to Krakow for a picture-perfect Christmas Markets experience in this beautiful and historic city.
Krakow offers a picture-perfect Christmas experience, with snow almost always falling here before Christmas. Their famous Market was voted "Best for Quirky Touches" by The Times on their list of the best Christmas Markets in Europe for 2022.
Go ice-skating in the beautiful Old Town square (Rynek)- the largest medieval one in Europe. Feast on sizzling local sausage (kielbasa) and delicious gingerbread, and sip on fragrant mulled wine. The Renaissance-era Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) overlooks it all. Pop inside to view the incredible, ornate light fittings which hang from the tall, barrel-vaulted ceiling. Wooden stalls offer a great selection of Christmas decorations, little gifts and elaborate nativity cribs. You might even see actual camels!
This year, Krakow's Christmas Markets will open from 24th November 2024 to 1st January 2025. Some stalls may remain open until into January for the Ephiphany Festival.
