Manchester's Christmas Markets have been running since 1998, offering a fantastic range of festive crafts, beverages, foods and activities.

The market stalls and chalets are positioned across the city, making them easily accessible  for everyone. Follow the winding market trail through the city as you browse homemade gifts, beautiful jewellery, clothes, gifts and sweets from local and European producers.

The Manchester Christmas Markets are famous for the traditional bratwurst on offer, but there's a amazing array of food available- from Spanish paella to a traditional hog roast. Plus, there's lots of veggie options too!

Generally, Manchester's Christmas markets open for November and December, but we recommend checking exact dates for 2025. The city centre is about 20 miles/ 40 minutes by car from your hotel.
