Discover the outstanding beauty of the Austrian Alps with us on this guided getaway. Our trip begins with a visit to the intriguing city of Innsbruck. Step back in time as we take a guided walk through the beautiful medieval old town, taking in key highlights like the Wilten Abbey Basilica and The Goldenes Dachl.
We’ll also enjoy a full-day excursion to the scenic Lake Chiemsee. This awe-inspiring alpine lake will leave you spellbound as we discover its hidden treasures. We’ll have time here to enjoy a boat tour of the lake, as well as the magnificent Herrenchiemsee Castle, built by Bavarian King Ludwig II.
Finally, we’ll travel to the Italian alpine town of Merano for a guided tour of its historic highlights like the Cathedral of St. Nicholas and medieval town gates. This Austria holiday also includes plenty of free time for you to explore with recommendations based on your interests from our guide.
You will be met on arrival at your destination airport and transferred to your accommodation. You will be accompanied on all included excursions by your guide. Your expert local guide is also available to give you tips and advice on any aspect of your holiday.
