The big change for 2026 is at St George’s Hall, where the familiar rows of wooden Christmas-market chalets are not returning in their previous form. Instead, the city is introducing Skate St George’s, an outdoor ice rink with a Christmas market featuring local traders, a big wheel and rooftop bar.

The main festive attraction will be at St George’s Plateau, directly beside St George’s Hall and just a few minutes' walk from Liverpool Lime Street station. The new attraction will include:

• An outdoor ice rink
• A Christmas market with local traders
• A Big Wheel
• A rooftop bar serving festive drinks
• Food and entertainment
• Christmas decorations and activities around St George’s Hall

Liverpool's Christmas Markets are due to open daily from 21st November 2026 until 3rd January 2027. We recommend checking cates and times locally to confirm.
