This great Rhythms of the River road trip offers two starting options, either in Chicago, Illinois, exploring iconic city attractions and Route 66 Americana before heading to St. Louis, or beginning in Minneapolis & Bloomington, Minnesota, to immerse in Prince and Bob Dylan's musical heritage before following the Great River Road south.

Both routes converge in St. Louis, Missouri, known for the Gateway Arch and vibrant music scene, before continuing south along the Mississippi to Nashville, Tennessee, the heart of Country music; Memphis, Tennessee, a pilgrimage city for Blues and Rock 'n' Roll; and through the Mississippi Delta with its rich Blues history.

The journey culminates in New Orleans, Louisiana, where the Mississippi meets the Gulf of Mexico, offering a rich blend of jazz, vibrant culture, historic charm, and distinctive cuisine in the French Quarter.
