Day 1 (Sat): Arrival in Quito
Airport pick-up and ground transfer to your hotel.
Rest and acclimate to Quito’s high altitude.

Day 2 (Sun): Quito & The Equator
Morning: Guided half-day city tour traveling through Quito’s historic core. The excursion features a curated Ecuadorian chocolate tasting.
Afternoon: Travel slightly north to visit the iconic Equatorial Line Monument (Mitad del Mundo).

Day 3 (Mon): Quito - Galápagos (Santa Cruz Island)
Morning transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Baltra Airport in the Galápagos.
Upon arrival, transfer to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island.
En route highlights: Guided visits to the Giant Tortoise Reserve, the massive twin volcanic craters (Los Gemelos), and ancient underground lava tunnels.

Day 4 (Tue): Tortuga Bay & Isabela Island
Morning: Guided hike down to the white sands of Tortuga Bay Beach, famous for marine iguanas and coastal birdlife.
Afternoon: Board a public speedboat to transit across to Isabela Island.

Day 5 (Wed): Isabela Island Exploration
Take a shared boat excursion to the volcanic islet of Las Tintoreras to spot white-tip reef sharks, Galápagos penguins, and sea lions.
Followed by land visits to the Flamingo Lagoon and the local Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre.

Day 6 (Thu): Sulphur Mines - Santa Cruz Island
Morning: Guided tour exploring the raw volcanic landscape of Isabela’s inland sulphur mines.
Afternoon: Catch the public speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island to check into your hotel.

Day 7 (Fri): Academy Bay & Charles Darwin Research Station
Morning: Take a boat tour around Academy Bay. This includes a structured stop for lunch in Puerto Ayora.
Afternoon: Visit the world-famous Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about active island conservation and breeding programs.

Day 8 (Sat): Day at Leisure in the Galápagos
A free day to relax or wander Puerto Ayora independently.
Optional Add-ons: Full-day shared boat excursions to nearby uninhabited islands for pristine nature trekking and snorkeling (choices typically include North Seymour Island, South Plazas Island, or Bartholomew Island, lunch included).

Day 9 (Sun): Departure via Mainland
Enjoy breakfast before transferring back across to Baltra Airport.
Board your domestic flight back to the Ecuadorian mainland (Quito or Guayaquil) to catch your onward international flight home.
