An intimate and romantic safari retreat, known for its regular leopard sightings and abundant birdlife, Simbambili's luxurious suites all come with private plunge pools, perfectly positioned for watching the local wildlife on the Savannah.
The lodge is on the banks of the Manyeleti River, in the northern part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, 1 hour 45 minutes’ drive from Hoedspruit airport. There are just 9 beautifully appointed suites, each with its own decking area, private plunge pool and day bed overlooking the wateringhole.
All suites are air-conditioned and feature a mini bar and an indoor/outdoor bathroom with bath and rain shower. Meals are served in the lodge or al fresco under the stars in the rustic boma, and there is also a library and game viewing decks. Complimentary dawn and dusk game drives with expert trackers are included every day, along with regular safari walks.
The amount of wildlife here is extraordinary, with leopards and the rest of the Big Five all regularly spotted. The Africology spa is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the bush, offering a range of restorative treatments. Children under 16 yrs are not permitted at the lodge, so this is a great option for honeymooners or couples looking for some peace and tranquillity.
