Stay at Norcenni Girasole Club and settle in for some impressive views of the Tuscan hills: Wine tasting, cookery and wonderful views.

This large parc is steeply terraced with some fairly high pitches, so offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. There are three pool complexes, waterslides and a lazy river, so a splashing good time is guaranteed! If relaxing is more your thing, you’ll find a superb spa complex here. When night-time arrives, dine at one of the scrummy restaurants and in high summer, catch a film at the cinema or head to the underground disco.

Make the most of your chance to explore the area with car hire included, or you can book yourself and your family onto day trips to Tuscany’s greatest delights, including Florence, Pisa and Siena.

Food, drink & entertainment

Opportunities abound in this lovely, lively and welcoming parc. Try Il Vecchio restaurant for fine Tuscan dining, or Sant'andrea for daily specials, seafood and regional favourites. Both have lovely terraces. There's’ a takeaway to enjoy the excellent quality fare at home too. Pizzas are cooked fresh and fabulously at the Pizzeria, and you’ve a lovely bar, with nightly entertainment, to hunker down in too.

Aquatic Area

With three separate pool areas, you’ll love it here. Whether it's the pool with the retractable roof or the four different waterslides, this complex really impresses. The lazy river allows for as much action or inaction as you wish and the numerous sun loungers provide the perfect spot the soak up some rays.

Park information

Tourist tax: Local taxes and/or ecological contributions are not included in your holiday price at this stage. These are payable at almost all tourist destinations, and you will need to pay during your pre-arrival online check-in process, or upon arrival at the parc.

Wine tasting excursions take place regularly to the Chianti vineyards and cellars.
The wine shop onsite also holds wine tastings in the evenings from 5.30 and there also wine tasting nights at the cellar of Villa Norcenni.

You can choose from transport or really get to know the very best of each destination by choosing a professionally guided tour. The destination which provide the option of transportation are: Siena, Pisa-Lucca, Rome. Ask for more information.

Local area

The world-renowned Chianti wine is made in this area and about 16km from the parc is the town of Greve - easily reached via public transport - the centrepoint for the distribution of wine to the surrounding areas. Historical Florence is definitely worth a visit; marvel at the art and architecture including Michaelangelo's 'David' and enjoy the vast array of shops, bars and restaurants. Siena, too, is a place of exquisite art and architecture, the cathedral specifically a thing of beauty. Further afield is Pisa, famous mainly for its leaning tower, but is also home to many museums.
