Costa Rica is a great value destination, a place where you can relax as well as experience vibrant culture and natural beauty. Costa Rica lead when it comes to sustainable tourism and eco tourism. 

Our suggestion:

Spend one night in San Jose on arrival, at one of our favourite hotels- Grano D'Oro. The next day, transfer to the Caribbean coast for a 3 night/ 4 day jungle experience at Tortuguero Lodge. Here you'll view the local wildlife and enjoy excursions by boat. 

From here, travel to Arenal where you can enjoy some of the many activities in the area, including relaxing in the natural hot springs, zip lining, white-water rafting, all in view of the active Arenal Volcano. 

Transfer from Arenal to Manuel Antonio where the National Park meets the sea. Relax by the pool or on the beach and take a taxi to the nearby village of Quepos to enjoy your evenings. Shop or soak up the atmosphere of the warm and friendly local people. Return to San Jose for a night before flying home.

As this is a bespoke itinerary you can make changes to it and add to it, even switch the order of where you visit. Below are some examples of what you can do:

• Add on another beach stay in one of the many towns on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica - we will arrange all transfers
• Stay in Monteverde and enjoy many excursions in the Cloud Forest
• Choose from a wide choice of excellent Jungle lodges with excellent facilities and excursions
• Combine with the US and stopover en-route in New York City!

• Combine with neighbouring countries Panama and Nicaragua.
