Uncover the flavours of Portugal on this seven-day adventure full of delicious bites, local wines and age-old culinary traditions. Start off with a tasting tour of Porto – tucking into the iconic francesinha sandwich and plenty of the city's famous fortified wine.
Then head south to picnic in the vineyards of the Douro Valley, roll up your sleeves for homestay dinner in Coa Valley and meet a passionate olive oil producer in Marvao. Finish your foodie adventure in the Portuguese capital with a glass or two of ginjinha (wild cherry liqueur), a pastel de nata cooking class and a visit to the historic Mercado da Ribeira.

- Space is at a premium in Europe and your hotel is no exception. Rooms are often small, but usually the central location makes up for that. For those travelling as a duo, hotels in Europe often don't have double beds, but rather two single beds that can be pushed together.
