Study trip to Athens

Athens has been inhabited for over 3,000 years and was one of the most important cities in antiquity. It is seen everywhere in the many impressive ruins that remain today. Take for example the trip to the Acropolis metro station and walk from there along the 4 km long wooden clad footpath, Archeology Promenade, where many of the important archeological sites are located.

Both the Old and the New

In contrast to antiquity, Athens is also a modern European capital with many hip areas and a lively atmosphere. Take a guided street art tour of the streets of Athens and experience modern street art! Last but not least, it is incredibly easy and straightforward to get around on a study trip in Athens. You get far on foot and then the metro is well-functioning, and, you will discover, a pure work of art!

When you book your study trip with us, you get a Personal Travel Consultant. We are ready to help throughout the whole organisational process, so that both the planning and the study trip itself will be a success. We offer very competitive prices.

Most groups choose to stay in hotel standard accommodation rather than hostel standard on study trips to Athens. We work with several different hotels, each with their own benefits. Most are centrally located in relation to the city's many sights and great experiences. For example, stay within walking distance of the National Museum, Plaka district or Omónia square.

It is a must to visit the Acropolis Rock, the well-known flat rock in the middle of Athens city, on which, among other things, the Acropolis Museum and the Parthenon Temple are located. 300 meters from the Acropolis is the New Acropolis Museum, where you can also experience relics of ancient Greece. Also visit the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, where over 20,000 exhibits provide a broad knowledge of antiquity. Visit the Olympic Stadium The former political center and marketplace, Agora, was once the heart of Athens - today you can see the ruins.
